Biography
Simo Radić was born in 1994 in Trebinje, where he completed his primary and secondary education. In 2012, he enrolled in the Department of History at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. He graduated in 2016 and defended his Master’s thesis titled "Trebinje and Popovo from the 12th to the 15th Century" in 2017.
Since 2018, he has been employed at the Museum of Herzegovina in Trebinje, initially as a Curator-Intern and subsequently as a Museum Educator. His research focuses on the history of Trebinje and Popovo, as well as the material and non-material heritage of this part of Herzegovina. He is actively involved in pedagogical work at the Museum of Herzegovina, where he conducts various themed workshops for children alongside his curator colleagues.
He is a member of Matica Srpska and the "Knez Miroslav Humski" Endowment, and serves as a contributor to the Encyclopedia of the Republic of Srpska. In the publication Glas Trebinja, he published the feuilletons "Trebinje and Popovo from the 12th to the 15th Century" and "The Development of Healthcare in Trebinje." He has participated in several scientific conferences and seminars and has published several papers on local history.
He is the author of the book Popovo, the Valley of Tears: Ustashe Crimes in World War II.
